Help celebrate BSCES Annual Award winners and the newest BSCES Honorary Members, Owen O'Riordan, Deputy City Manager for the City of Cambridge, MA, and William Konicki, retired from Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc.

Keynote Speaker: Houssam (Sam) Sleiman, PE, Executive Vice President, National Transportation, Suffolk

Sam Sleiman is Executive Vice President of National Transportation at Suffolk, specializing in the management of projects for aviation, port, and railway projects nationally.  Sam’s strong expertise and in-depth understanding of transportation clients and their project objectives has been cultivated through more than 40 years of experience in the design and construction industry, including 27 years of experience managing projects for one of the largest transportation authorities in the nation. Sam oversaw the implementation of over $7 billion in aviation and transportation projects, which includes the $700 million Terminal E Modernization at Logan International Airport, the $160 million Terminal C Optimization & Terminal C to B Connector at Logan International Airport, and the $250 million Consolidated Rental Agency Complex (ConRAC) at Logan International Airport.

Journalism Award - Ian Coss for The Big Dig Podcast

Charles A. Stone and Edwin S. Webster Project of the Year Award - Skanska USA Civil Northeast, MBTA, and DW White Construction for the MBTA South Coast Rail Project

Younger Member Award - Edward G. Breed, Skanska USA Civil Northeast

Small Employer Recognition Award - Beals and Thomas, Inc.

Large Employer Recognition Award - Fuss & O'Neill

Sustainability in Civil Engineering Small Project Award - SLR Consulting for the Monatiquot River Restoration Project, Braintree, MA

Sustainability in Civil Engineering Large Project Award - Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. for the Spring Hill Sewer Replacement Project
