Differing Site Conditions (DSCs) involve subsurface or other concealed physical conditions that differ materially from those indicated in the contract documents, or unusual unknown conditions that differ from those ordinarily encountered on similar work.

This webinar will discuss DSC clauses found in many construction contracts, common issues that arise on construction projects, and recurring themes that lead to DSC claims. Using historical disputes from published litigation, the presenters will discuss the project information and evaluations that commonly become important during dispute resolution.

The session is intended to help contractors and engineers better understand how DSC issues typically develop and highlight practical considerations for organizing project information when conditions deviate from what was anticipated.
